Vehicle Tracking - Text Alarms
The system can be set to send alarm messages to a mobile phone. These can be set up in either of the following ways:
- Out of hours - if the vehicle ignition is activated outside the preset working hours, a text alarm is sent to alert the driver or owner of the vehicle.
- Break in - if the vehicle is fitted with an alarm system, it can normally be wired to an input on the Quartix system. This in turn sends a text alarm to a mobile phone in the case of a break in. This has to be fitted at the time of installation of the system (this may involve additional costs - please ask us for details.
